Paste, import, react
- In the source step, drop a YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram URL into the link field and tap Import link.
- Pick an import quality — 480p, 720p, or 1080p. Higher looks sharper; lower imports faster on a weak connection.
- ClipCam fetches the clip (up to 30 minutes), sets it as your source, and you record your reaction over it.
Trim to the moment
Long video, one good bit? Set a start and end point so you react to exactly the section that matters — no dead air at the top, no racing to stop on time.
It still merges itself
Importing a link changes only where the source comes from — the rest of the workflow is identical. ClipCam ducks the clip's audio under your mic, merges the two streams in the cloud, and exports a platform-ready side-by-side for YouTube, TikTok, Reels, or X.
